I am Gurpreet Kaur, pursuing Bachelor’s of Commerce in Honours and I am Innovation Coordinator of Institution’s Innovation Council, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya. Being a part of KMV IIC, I learnt how entrepreneurship plays an important role in the progress of a nation. I got an opportunity to participate in various competitions and events which widened my horizons and changed my outlook towards start-ups and their journey. Apart from competitions and other activities organized by KMV IIC, I also got an opportunity to interact with various eminent personalities who were instrumental in providing us knowledge regarding entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity. I am really thankful to KMV IIC for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. Through this platform, I have learnt a lot and will continue to learn, grow and achieve my dreams.

I am Amanjot Kaur, student of B. Sc. Non-Medical Sem-5 (Bioinformatics). I am thankful to my institution Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar for giving me this wonderful opportunity to be the part of Institution’s Innovation Council. All sessions and events organized by IIC are very interesting and informative. These sessions have brought awareness about various innovative ideas in the field of Sciences. As an IIC member, I have learnt to work in a team. Webinar and sessions like ‘Innovate to lead’ and ‘Design thinking and innovations’ were enlightening. I am looking forward for more such events in coming days.

I am Saloni Sharma, student of B.Voc. (Animation). I participated in Business Idea contest organised by KMV IIC. This contest really helped me in boosting my critical thinking and analytical approach towards business. We created a new idea for a Joggers bottle. We all worked in a team and got to know the importance of team efforts in getting things done in an effective and efficient manner .All over it was a great learning experience. I am glad that I got this opportunity and look forward to other events to be organised by IIC.

I am Palak, student of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. I am pursuing Bachelor’s of Commerce in Honours and I am the Start-up Coordinator of KMV Institution’s Innovation Council. The Council provided me a platform to change my dreams into reality. Workshops organized by KMV IIC enhanced my knowledge, made me strong, and helped me to reach my goals. Till date, I have attended various webinars, events conducted by MHRD which have transformed my mind to become an entrepreneur. I got a chance to know about the success stories of various startups and how to enter into startup journey. KMV Institution’s Innovation Council has inculcated skills like leadership, design thinking, communication, and problem solving and persuaded me to think about a new startup. As a member of KMV IIC, I have participated in various events organized by IIC which make me feel proud and improved my overall personality and also helped me to build my career as a beautician. During pandemic, KMV IIC organized various workshops and seminars that also added up in our knowledge. KMV IIC and Cosmetology both has proven like a cherry on cake for me. Kamalpreet Kaur Owner and Editor, Next Image Photography I am Kamalpreet Kaur, student of B.Voc.(Animation) at KMV Jalandhar. I am grateful being at the institution where I got right skills, training, industry exposure through Internships and above all the guidance by our experienced faculty. With the kind of support I got from here, I took initiative to start my own work in the field of video editing under 'Next Image Photography'. At this juncture, I would like to mention how important is creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship for us students. The efforts of government in setting up Innovation Cell at National level and Innovation Councils in all Higher Education Institutions is really appreciable which we as students must take full advantage of.

I am Palak Sharma, Member, KMV IIC and a student of B.Com (Honours) Semester III in Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. I feel very privileged to be the part of Institution’s Innovation Council of KMV. My experience as a member of KMV IIC has been great because we got ample opportunities to interact with scholar’s offline as well as virtually. I attended Leadership talks with Dr. Abhay Jere and got an opportunity to ask questions that immensely added to my knowledge. KMV IIC encourages youth towards entrepreneurship, polishes our perspectives about business and the economy.
